Eligibility for GATE Examination

The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE 2012:
  • Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
  • Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
  • Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.
  • Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
  • Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

Android VS MeeGo


What is Android - Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. Google Inc. purchased the initial developer of the software, Android Inc., in 2005.

What is MeeGo - MeeGo is an open source project led by the MeeGo Technical Steering Group. The governance model is based on meritocracy and the best practices and values of the Open Source culture.

google book download's

Do you want  to read your favorite books online ? Google Book Search is a popular google tool that provides all kind of books and magazines.  Google Book Search lets you to download non copy write and public domain books and documents in PDF format.  But you can’t download copy write Books from Google Book Search.
Download options are not provided on Google Books which leaves users with no other choice than to read the books and magazines online or use a third party tool to download them to the local computer.

By using the tool you can download Google books and save it as PDF file or print .

1. Google Books Downloader – This tool  allows you to save required book as PDF from google to your computer.  Before using this tool you should install Microsoft .net Framework 3.5 SP1.
How to Use
a) Download Google Books Downloader.  Unzip the file,  Double click mdgb.exe to run the application.
b) Copy & Paste the URL of the book which you want to download.
c) Click Check button.
d) Click Download entire book.
e) Click Save entire book… as button.
All downloaded pages will be saved in PDF format.
